What I Learned While Apartment Hunting in Chicago

Posted by SatoDraygonFist2 - July 17th, 2010

1. My mother can pick up on water damage, bowed walls, lack of/existence of basic insulation, number of power outlets, and even the fact that there are only single, +40-year-old men living in the building I thought I'd go ahead and rent in.

2. A single, 18-year-old female should not be living in this building.

3. Mental note: Listen to mother more often.

4. Jamba Juice makes the subway station seem less scary.

5. Only make lists that have five or less items on them.

6. Always.

Mothers can pick up on everything. Should use moms instead of police dogs in my opinion! :P

Police dogs would then, without warning, become very worried about things like floors being swept and rooms being neat.
